It must be a nice game, cuz i tried diablo 3 before, but i did not download this game. My boyfriend got an email on his phone that he pre-ordered it and now is available.. but he didn’t. Asked me to search up the game on my phone, and it was already downloading 😂 we don’t share the same email btw. But yeah now I’m curious what’s going on.

The game as it is amazing. The story is fine, the enviroment is D3 like but really works. The quests and story are fun, the skills, characters, monsters are looking amazing. Diablo Immortal had everything to be a good game. But it’s too much a pay to win. With all the legendary gems you can get for free (around 6) then leveling them up, I can’t see how it’s done without paying. Also the awakening of legendary gems. The Bosses drops almost nothing compared to older games, and you actually have to buy a loot box after every boss to get a decent drop. And even then!!! you only have the chance. You have to pay for the better gear, and even then the gear doesn’t really matter you just have to buy legendary gems put them in a garbage item to be OP. I am fine for paying a game, I tend to think like: okay, its f2p, then I’ll spend at least the price what the game would cost if I had to buy it. But I do not support this kind of planned p2w kind of game design. I am sure the few casual players and the heavily paying players will keep this game alive, but until the p2w aspect of the game doesn’t changes I am more than fine with D2R or even D3. And hopeful for D4 to be a better garbage than this.
Started good, became really bad quickly
Early game: ok
Mid game: really good
Late game: horrible
Legendary items are clever and well designed, lots of creative skills and interactions.
Set items are a horror. Not only there is no transfer, also the drop rate is just insanely bad.
Went 75+ runs in the same dungeon for one piece of equipment over and over again and still got one with terrible stats. Now I hate that dungeon.
After a while the set item that you farmed so hard to get, becomes too weak and you can start it all over again.
Tasks/quests are often too repetative and the game loses its enjoyability even more. Not to mention lots of them can only be done at a certain time of the day. So if you're working at that time, well too bad.
Yet, legendary gems are the worst part of the game. It makes pay to win players overpowered and f2p players impossible to enjoy the game.
You can't farm or get them normally only trough legendary crests that you can get from events (around 3 a month), or buy them in market for a price that you need months to save up, even for a weaker one.
Leveling them up can take ages. It can require 100+ gems and another of that same rare gem to raise one level of a legendary gem.
Unless Blizzard corrects these, I do not recommend playing this game.
