Honest Disney+ review
Disney+ is a great app for watching movies, shows, series etc. it has a good quality of stuff, even the old stuff. I can’t change the subtitles on the mobile one, that’s not important but still. I love that it almost always has new content to watch from Star Wars to Marvel. I’d give it a 4.5 if there would be an option. Cheaper and better than Netflix or Apple TV+. This is a great app and if you haven’t already, subscribe.
Alright, could be better
Generally alright, easy to navigate but not always intuitive and lately has a majority bug. The bug is that it just stops response to the playback controls on Apple TV. None of the other streaming apps do that and only affects playback and navigation within the Disney app. I can still exist the app and if I close it and restart it works again. This happens on a daily basis. The general navigation issue (for me) is that when I open the subtitle menu, it disappears when I press up (which is reflex since I want to be sure I'll be toggling between info/audio/subtitles and not the languages. I think since there's a dedicated "back" button, it should be the only one to close a menu/navigate back. Also, please include regular English subtitles not just the CC, not everybody using subtitles is hearing impaired. There are thick accents and bad sound mixes. Sometimes I just want to understand something easier, I don't want the extra commentary, like "WHISPERS" and so on. It's good that you have it but it's annoying if not needed. It'd be appropriated. Thx!
