Problems!
It thought this would be the perfect TC clone for me on Mac, but unfortunately there are issues:
- it does not detect external changes in the folder, I have to reload the folder to see a new/modified file
- file removal is pretty damn slow
- sometimes it goes crazy, I cannot open/alter any file in the folder any more, it shows permission problems or just remains silent without any effect. In such a situation, I have to reopen the folder to make it working again.
The best two panel file manager on Mac
This has to be the closest and finest match to Total Commander on Mac, therefore for switchers from Windows, this is a must have, but i’d recommend it to anybody who feels that Finder might not be the ultimate file manager after all. :) In the past years i’ve tried literally every (mostly miserable) two panel file managers found on Mac and this is the only one i can safely call as a worthy attempt. It has an interface with the proper look and feel plus it has the most important features (find in files, ftp support, multi rename tool, etc) from TC. Key bindings can be customized, so you can reproduce the exact Total Commander experience. I’m happy with it, finally - after three years of OSX usage - my software collection is complete.
