On screen buttons
are too small/tight together and way down at the bottom of the phone. This makes them uncomfortable to use and it's easy to miss for the app switcher bar.
The whole ui should be shifted up quite a bit.
Almost good...
The whole UI need some clean up, you can’t really find anything in the menu and for the first time it’s just confusing. The game controls are horrible omg, I got so frustrated. I downloaded it, and got on the top 20 for the day in my country but I just can’t do this. The controls are so bad, that when you are a beginner it might be hard to learn, and when you are better at the game it’s just restrict you. Pls do something about it. There are a lots of emulators with Tetris, and they have done better with the pinned controls. The touch control need some work too. But I like the idea of the modern Tetris game, and that there are a lots of visual variability. It would definitely be a 4-5 star, if at least the controls were good.
A hidden subscription nightmare
What EA is doing to this IP is abhorrent. Seriously! You have a monopoly on the franchise and you decide to turn it into a subscription service? Buying tickets just to continue playing is outrageous, especially since there are still ads between games anyway. Then what am I paying for exactly? For the limited functionality that that game offers this kind of monetisation is in my opinion completely unacceptable. The old game before the re-release was less intrusive, you could pay a one time fee to remove ads and it had a nice puzzle section (Galaxy mode). Now we have this nightmarish pay to play system. I hate it, and considering the future of the franchise, I will not play this game any more, because this needs to stop.
