Description
ChessFinity is a totally new spin on chess. While adapting the rules from the most famous strategy game of all times, ChessFinity adds the thrill of an endless runner. We’ve taken the traditional chessboard and transformed it into a never-ending road to victory. You control one piece from the roster at a time, but you can always swap - from knight to king, from bishop to rook, whatever the situation requires. Try to survive as long as you can and score as many points as possible.
To advance further along the endless road, you have to take all pieces that are sent your way – every piece taken will give you more time and a queen is worth more than a pawn. Analyze your options quickly and then consider those of your opponent – just like chess. But the clock keeps ticking, you have to react fast to keep moving and to beat the high score – as you are competing with players all over the world for the top rank.

Good idea, terrible implemention
The game could be good, but there are mistakes that make the game useless.
There are too many enemy pieces and the AI plays terrible. Normally (if you have no active powerup) the AI checks if it can capture your piece, but his other moves see s so random. At about stage 2 or 3 you will arrive to a position where you just can’t go through. If you get lucky the clever AI will just let you capture his pieces and you are free to go. But in reality even an Amatour could hold the position. I guess the game wants you to use a powerup in such a position, but that’s not a solution.
There are 4 power ups (or at least I found 4).
You can collect them from chests. But if an opponent piece takes the chest you can’t take it. This is a random based factor. The intelligent AI won’t take the chest on purpose, but can take or defend it by it’s random factor. Because you can’t move backwards, if a piece protects the chest from behind, you have no chance to collect it.
But let’s suppose you get lucky and you claim the powerup.
You still can’t be happy. 2 out of the 4 powerups are completly useless. There is a powerup that gives you then coins if you capture an enemy piece, but only once. There are tons of coins on the board, so that’s really not what you would expect from a chest. The next useless powerup is the shield. It says that opponent pieces will try to avoid captureing you. That sounds good. When I got to a hard part I activated the shield. But the first time the opponent could, it captured my piece. I tried it a few more times. It takes your piece about 4 out of 5 times. The last two powerups works, they are good. So if you got lucky and claim a chest you will have 50% chance to get a usefull item.
