Best sudoku app out there
The devs are nice, and listen to user feedback. Many of those have been implemented already. This little app has been sitting on my phone for years now, and when my time lets me, I play some games with it. The hints are extremely well made, and help you understand better tactics to solve!
Now if I could make a small request.. could the “notes” button be more visible if it’s being used or not? The little on off indicator is okay-ish, but I’ve fallen victim to entering a number when I only wanted to make a note.

Hello,
Sometimes the hint shows a number in a place where you can’t know that that number will be in that good place. For example: just because there are two crossing lines with missing 8, its not sure that in the common place there will be 8. You may know because you know the other missing numbers, but that time I can’ know.

Hint should be hints
I would appreciate if there was a setting for hints to be only hints. Now if choose to have hint it also gives me the solution.
It would be really nice if would say only “Obvious pairs” or “XY Wing”. I wouldn’t even highlight where these are. I could then just look for it. When I need a hint I only need that small nudge.
Otherwise great job. I really like the new statistics.

Hello! Thanks for your feedback. We are glad to hear you like our application. Smart hints help to learn the strategy and the techniques on how puzzles are solved. They show not just a random column or row, but what should be the next logical move towards the right solution according to the current state of the puzzle. If you wish to switch to simple hints, which allow you to select a cell and get the number that matches the final solution of the puzzle, please open the app, tap the "gear" icon in the right upper corner, select Settings and disable Smart Hints. If you have any difficulties or questions, let us know, we'd be happy to help!
